For many years, the campsite on the Ile d’Ol\u00e9ron<\/a> has been committed to reducing<\/strong> its environmental<\/strong> impact<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result, our rental fleet consists mainly of wooden<\/strong> chalets<\/strong> and tent lodges<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Waste management<\/strong> is undoubtedly the main showcase for our eco-responsible actions, but our educational approach<\/strong> to resource <\/strong> conservation<\/strong> is not to be outdone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The use of renewable<\/strong> energies<\/strong>, particularly solar power<\/strong>, is constantly evolving. Since 2025, the eco-responsible Saint-Georges-d’Ol\u00e9ron campsite has been working alongside the EAU17<\/strong> water distribution syndicate to raise holidaymakers’ awareness of<\/strong> the vital need to preserve this resource<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our actions in favor of the environment accompany you every day during your stay at La Campi\u00e8re campsite, including the organization of our events and activities in Saint-Georges-d’OI\u00e9ron<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you arrive, a bio-bucket<\/strong> will be given to you, or will be waiting for you in your rental unit, so that you can help reduce the volume of household waste. <\/strong>to be treated by selective sorting<\/strong>. The compost produced is then used to maintain and renew the vegetation of the eco-responsible campsite on the Ile d’Ol\u00e9ron. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every new installation or renovation is an opportunity to do away with plastics and synthetics. Wooden<\/strong> structures<\/strong> are omnipresent on the campsite, helping to integrate them into the landscape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of our efforts to conserve water<\/strong>, all the taps on the campsite and in the rental units are equipped with flow reducers, so you can still enjoy the comfort and pleasure of a shower. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2024, hot water for sanitary facilities has come from solar energy<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our cleaning team is also keen to limit<\/strong> its<\/strong> ecological<\/strong> impact<\/strong> by limiting the number of wash-downs and using biodegradable<\/strong> cleaning products. In addition to the actions carried out on the campsite, we work as much as possible in short circuits<\/strong> with local economic players and invite holidaymakers to visit local producers<\/strong> to discover the wonderful products of Oleron. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n
