Visit Fort Boyard from the campsite

Fort Boyard is located off the coast of Boyardville, between Île d’Aix and Île d’Oléron

The 19th century, oval-shaped fort was built on a sandbank and was originally intended to protect against the English. Nowadays, the fort is only used for tourism and as a backdrop for the television game The Keys of Fort Boyard. The fort is not open to visitors; only a tour around the fort is possible.
